"Out of Reach" is the latest vinyl collection of heart rate-lowering melancholic dusty dream-pop and crumbling tape loop ambience from Providence-based musician/artist/filmmaker/underground hero Carlos Gonzales, once again drawing in the adrift and articulating a mood both contemporary and timeless. Tracks are drawn from his previous 3 self-released cassette releases on Wasp Video Roadhouse, and are among his most spare and moving recordings yet. In a glow of green light, the familiar is rendered strange and new and essential. Tsarlag has been haunting the road and various basements and crevices for years now, gathering acclaim with his one-of-a-kind otherworldly performances. We are proud to present this record, his 3rd release on our label after the Open Casket lp from 2009 and the Russian Tsarag / Secret Boyfriend split lp from 2013.
